Head of School's Welcome,

Over the years the school has been making conscious efforts to provide quality learning environment that prepares students for a fast-changing world. The partnership between Learning Links Foundation and the Government school has succeeded in achieving these objectives and bring about a paradigm shift in teaching learning process.

The program has been successful in bridging the digital divide and provides opportunities to the children who come from the under privileged section of the society. The community students who have no access to technology have been trained under the explore@myworld.com program that not only provides digital literacy skills but also develops skills such as collaboration, communication, solve problems, think critically and develop leadership qualities.

The opportunity to interact and showcase their projects to a wider audience be it their friends, parents, the community leaders or Dell personnel has brought about a change in their outlook and has helped them develop self esteem. There has been numerous success stories which have made a remarkable impact in the community making the program very successful.

The SCIMA Digital Program has helped in promoting scientific temperament and enhancing interest in Maths. Teachers who have been trained under the Program have adapted innovative teaching-learning methodologies. Effective & Judicious use of emerging & innovative technologies has helped the teachers to customize the lesson to the needs of the individual students.

The focus has shifted from Teacher Centric methodologies to more Student Centric approaches. Technology has enabled the teachers to adopt the constructivist approach leading to better student achievement.

Sincerely,

Ms. Beby Rani
Principal of School
